Who We're Looking For

We’re looking for a talented Software Engineer to join a team building high-impact systems across industries. You’ll work with a high-performing nearshore development team focused on delivering scalable, secure, and reliable backend applications for mission-critical domains. Primary Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services and enterprise-grade software solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mobile, QA, DevOps, and product management
• Work on SDKs that integrate into Android and iOS apps, as well as related backend microservices
• Optimize relational databases and write performant SQL queries
• Participate in the full development lifecycle, including TDD, CI/CD, and code reviews
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure quality and maintainability
• Maintain documentation and adhere to version control best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with a focus on performance and stability

Some Must-Haves:

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and React
• Experience developing for Android (preferably also iOS)
• Familiarity with SDK development or contributing to mobile apps via embedded SDKs
• Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
• Solid grasp of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and modern testing practices
• Ability to work effectively in a distributed, remote-first team
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (written and verbal

The work hours will be approximately 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, depending on workload, with the occasional late night when a tight deadline calls for it. We work for security-conscious clients, thus background checks will be required.
