Role:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering with proven backend and front-end development experience. As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications and APIs along with test automation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and performant software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build scalable service and API layers that power automated code modernisation and migration workflows

• Develop and maintain full stack web applications across both frontend and backend layers

• Build and maintain automated test suites to ensure code quality and reliability

• Collaborate with cross functional teams to translate requirements into well architected technical solutions

• Write clean, maintainable, and well documented code with a focus on performance and scalability

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across the full stack

• Contribute to the design and architecture of new features and system improvements

Required Experience:

• Strong hands-on Python skills with a proven software engineering background

• Full stack capability across frontend and backend, including JavaScript and React

• Proficient in designing and building RESTful APIs and scalable service layers using Flask or FastAPI

• Solid background in building and maintaining automated test frameworks and test suites

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS

• Comfortable working with AI tools such as Copilot or Claude as part of everyday development

• Familiarity with legacy system modernisation, code migration, or large scale transformation projects

• Strong problem solving skills with the ability to work through complex technical challenges

• Proven ability to work proactively, take ownership, and collaborate effectively in cross functional agile environments

Desirable Experience:

• Hands-on with Kubernetes and containerised environments

• Exposure to Model Context Protocol (MCP) and agentic AI tooling
