Software Engineer (React – Java)
to develop a new software platform that automates accounting and administrative processes for multi‑utility companies. The role focuses on creating scalable front‑end and back‑end components, designing APIs, and ensuring high code quality.
Responsibilities
Develop front‑end features using React, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Implement back‑end services with Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, and JWT‑based authentication.
Design, implement, and maintain REST APIs and integrations with external systems.
Build reusable, scalable components for accounting and document workflows.
Assist in defining application architecture and technical design decisions.
Participate in testing, debugging, and code quality reviews.
Work with domain consultants and project stakeholders to refine requirements.
Contribute to continuous improvement of the platform and development practices.
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of professional experience in software development.
Strong knowledge of modern software architectures, code quality, maintainability, and scalability.
Experience with API integrations and distributed system design.
Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, JWT.
Proficient in React, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3.
Experience with relational databases (MySQL, SQLite) and NoSQL (MongoDB).
Familiarity with AI & Data concepts such as Python, LLM APIs, and textual data analytics.
Knowledge of DevOps tools: Git, Docker, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD pipelines.
Benefits and Contract
Direct employment, permanent contract.
Salary range: €25,000 – €30,000 gross per year, based on seniority and role.
Ticket restaurant 8.5 € per working day, 3 k € bonus for training.
Remote work: 2 days per week.
Full‑time position, located in Imola (BO).
CCNL: Commercio, Level 3.
Location
Imola, Emilia‑Romagna, Italy.
