We are currently seeking a talented and fast-working
Software Engineer
to join our Tech Team in Hong Kong - to help develop our vertical farming system platform - local robotics software, local server software, cloud services, UI interfaces and controls for operator and remote monitoring. Role
As
Software Engineer
you will work within a small, highly motivated team in a fast paced start-up environment, writing C++, Python, Nodejs.
What we are looking for?
Write
C++ code with Arduino IDE
to control movement of
Robotics
and
Automation
hardware
Write
C++ code with Arduino IDE
to retrieve data from
IoT environmental sensors
and
cameras
Write
code
to retrieve data from the database, and store data not limited to Python, Nodejs, Go
Support the implementation of software with the Farm Operations team in Brisbane
Identify new opportunities for automation within the production process
Develop and maintain clear and accurate
documentation
of software
Rapidly troubleshoot automated processes or equipment when errors occur
You’ll need these minimum skills
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.
1-2 years work experience
Familiarity with software development tools such as Gitlab, preferred coding IDEs
Experience with testing and validating Software
Good English required as the team is international
If this have these skills, it’s even better
Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
Experience developing accessible technologies.

Highly motivated, results oriented with a high commitment level
Salary
HKD/month: 20k - 24k depending on exp.
