Overview
Our client is a leading organisation operating large-scale logistics and operational systems. They are looking for a
Software Engineer
to build and enhance
mission-critical applications
supporting their
operations, logistics, and enterprise platforms .
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and enhance web-based applications supporting operational and fleet systems
Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and system integrations across platforms
Collaborate with internal IT teams and external vendors to troubleshoot and resolve system issues
Participate in the full software development lifecycle (design, development, testing, deployment)
Optimise and refactor systems to improve performance, reliability, and maintainability
Support initiatives to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency through technology
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Science or other related disciplines
With 3-5 years of work experience in software development (preferably in mid-to-large organisations)
Proficiency in:
TypeScript, ReactJS, NodeJS, Java
Strong knowledge of
SQL and database design
Experience with:
API development & system integration
CI/CD pipelines
Cloud technologies (AWS, Serverless)
Docker / containerisation
ELK stack or monitoring tools
Knowledge or with practical experience using AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Co-pilot..etc.) is an advantage
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment
Fluent in
English
with good command of Chinese
