JOB SUMMARY
Apexon is seeking a highly engaged and motivated Senior Software Engineer to join a high-performing and fast-paced application development team. The Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-level applications using ReactJS, NextJS, NodeJS, GraphQL, and TypeScript. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of full-stack solutions with a focus on front end development, experience in leading IT projects, and working closely with stakeholders and business teams.

Education and Experience
Required
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of experience with ReactJS or a similar JavaScript framework
Preferred
- Proven experience in designing and consuming GraphQL-based backend systems
- Strong proficiency in: TypeScript, NextJS, ReactQuery, GraphQL
- Experience with Docker for containerization and orchestration
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
- Design and develop enterprise web applications using ReactJS, NextJS, TypeScript, NodeJS, and GraphQL.
- Build and maintain responsive front-end user interfaces that provide high-performance, cross-platform user experiences.
- Develop and integrate GraphQL APIs to enable efficient communication between front-end applications and backend services.
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code while following established coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines.
- Conduct code reviews by reviewing pull requests, providing constructive feedback, and ensuring code quality across the development team.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex software issues across the full technology stack, including frontend, backend, APIs, and cloud-based environments.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, designers, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Lead or contribute to complex software development projects, helping drive technical decisions, project planning, and successful implementation.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to support iterative software delivery.
- Manage source code using Git and command-line tools, including creating branches, submitting pull requests, merging code, and resolving merge conflicts.
- Work within a monorepo development environment (Nx) to build, maintain, and share reusable libraries and applications across multiple projects.
- Develop, test, and deploy applications using Docker and modern development tools, ensuring consistency across development and deployment environments.
- Analyze project specifications and technical requirements to estimate effort, identify risks, and recommend scalable technical solutions.
- Mentor and support other developers by sharing technical knowledge, answering questions, explaining alternative implementation approaches, and promoting engineering best practices.
- Work independently to deliver sprint commitments while balancing multiple priorities, meeting deadlines, and maintaining high-quality software deliverables.
