Overview Lead design and development of new functionalities and microservices for market-leading smart city solutions, including the Building Energy Management Platform, Digital Twins, IIo T Platform, and related systems. Responsibilities Own architectural decisions for services and modules, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and alignment with DDD-oriented microservice principles. Coordinate with research and project teams to translate system requirements and user requests into robust technical designs. Drive system maintainability and reliability practices — documentation, API specifications, application/system monitoring, and observability standards. Review code and provide technical guidance to other engineers, helping raise the team\'s overall coding standards. Enforce best practices, coding standards, and knowledge-sharing across the team. Evaluate and advocate for trade-offs in technology choices, weighing performance, cost, and long-term maintainability. What you will need7+ years of hands-on experience in software development, including experience designing systems from the ground up. University graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines. A strong focus on code quality, software maintainability, and architectural soundness. Solid knowledge of relational databases’ internals and message queuing systems (e.g., Kafka). Strong understanding of domain-driven design and microservices architecture, with experience applying them in real projects. Familiarity with the following technologies/concerns will be an advantage: DDD-oriented microservice architecture, event-driven design Dev Ops lifecycle Big data/Datalake management Infrastructure as code Good understanding of trade-offs in software engineering, able to justify decisions to both technical and non-technical problems. Comfortable reviewing others\' code and providing constructive technical feedback. Strong team player with a strong sense of responsibility.
