We at Coforge are hiring Position (21531) with the following skill set.
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with 4–5 years of professional experience to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development experience, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for building scalable and high-quality solutions using modern technologies.
This role requires hands‑on experience with TypeScript, Python, Elixir, and AWS cloud services. The engineer will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to design, develop, deploy, and maintain reliable software applications and services.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications and APIs.
- Build and optimize distributed systems and cloud‑native applications.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high‑quality solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code following best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving engineering standards and processes.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical planning.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
- Mentor junior developers and support team collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- 4–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong experience with TypeScript and backend development frameworks.
- Solid programming experience with Python.
- Experience developing applications using Elixir.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, EC2, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, API Gateway, or similar.
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Experience with Git and modern development workflows.
- Understanding of software architecture, scalability, and performance optimization.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proactive mindset with strong ownership and accountability.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with serverless architectures.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
- Exposure to monitoring and observability tools.
