The documentation engineering team is responsible for creating developer tools and framework-level support for the documentation workflows in Xcode and the developer website. We\'re looking for a software engineering manager to manage our Cupertino based Platform engineering team – the team is responsible for the services, Xcode integrations, and work on DocC - Apple\'s open source documentation compiler - that power documentation both internally and externally at Apple. The ideal candidate wants to tackle big problems, has a vision for the product, and cares about getting the little details right. As a manager on this team, you will be responsible for leading the design, development and delivery of features and products that 3rd party developers and Apple engineers will use every day. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $198,300 and $342,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
