Job Description

Software Engineering Manager:


10+ years of total industry experience, including 5+ years in an Engineering Manager (EM) role leading high-performing teams and delivering complex platforms.

Technical Expertise

  • Strong foundation in architecture and system design with hands-on understanding of modern enterprise platforms
  • Proficiency in Java/Spring Boot and modern backend development practices
  • Solid knowledge of JavaScript & TypeScript, with experience in React and related frameworks
  • Frontend fundamentals including HTML5, CSS, SASS, and responsive design principles
  • Experience designing for resiliency, observability, and security in distributed systems
  • Familiarity with deployment strategies (CI/CD, progressive rollout, blue-green, canary)
  • Strong understanding of test strategy across unit, integration, and end-to-end automation
  • Exposure to AI-assisted engineering tools to drive developer productivity
  • Strong focus on operational excellence, scalability, and production stability

Leadership & Delivery

  • Proven ability to lead multiple cross-functional teams across complex initiatives
  • Experience delivering solutions for both internal enterprise platforms and external customer-facing applications
  • Experience managing engineering managers or senior engineers (preferred) and scaling team structures as needed

Operating Model & Collaboration

  • Experience working within a product operating model, partnering closely with product, UX, and business stakeholders
  • Proven ability to effectively operate in a hybrid onshore–offshore model, driving alignment, velocity, and accountability across distributed teams

Lead engineering teams to deliver scalable, resilient, and customer-centric platforms, driving consistent experiences across channels and accelerating delivery through modern engineering practices and AI-assisted productivity.
