Role Summary
Seeking a hands-on Principal Software Engineer / Technical Lead with strong expertise in AWS Cloud, Python backend development, and microservices. The ideal candidate will act as the technical bridge between Solution Architects and Engineering teams, leading technical decisions while remaining hands-on in development.
Key Responsibilities:
Translate architecture into scalable technical solutions.
Lead technical design sessions, code reviews, and engineering teams.
Develop Python REST APIs and cloud-native microservices.
Collaborate with Architects, Business Analysts, UI, Backend, and DevOps teams.
Drive AWS architecture implementation and production troubleshooting.
Mentor engineers and ensure engineering best practices.
Required Skills:
AWS: Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/Fargate, EC2, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, CloudWatch, IAM, VPC, DynamoDB, S3.
Python: FastAPI, Flask, Django, REST APIs, Microservices.
Databases: PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, DynamoDB, MongoDB.
DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub, CI/CD, Terraform, CloudFormation.
System Design, Event-Driven Architecture, Code Reviews, Performance Optimization.
Ideal Candidate:
Hands-on in Python API development.
Strong AWS architecture implementation experience.
Leads UI, Backend, and AWS engineering teams.
Works closely with Solution Architects to implement solutions.
Makes technical decisions (e.g., Lambda vs Fargate, GraphQL vs REST).
Experienced in production support, scalability, and mentoring engineers.
