Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Software Functional Analyst to support enterprise scheduling, workforce management, and healthcare application systems within a fast-paced healthcare environment.

This role is responsible for the administration, integration, support, and enhancement of enterprise scheduling and workforce management applications, including Clairvia, Oracle Cloud Scheduling, PeopleSoft, Epic, and related healthcare systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in requirements gathering, application lifecycle management, testing, integrations, and stakeholder collaboration while supporting mission-critical healthcare operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Scheduling System Administration

• Maintain and support Clairvia for Nursing, including:
  • Daily system updates
  • Report generation
  • Security administration
  • Configuration management
• Provide configuration and operational support for Oracle Cloud Scheduling solutions

2. Data Integration & System Interfaces

• Manage and monitor daily HR data imports from PeopleSoft
• Support integrations between:
  • Epic
  • PointClickCare
  • Workforce and scheduling systems
• Ensure reliable data synchronization across enterprise healthcare applications

3. Application Lifecycle Management

• Lead and support:
  • System assessment
  • Solution design
  • Development coordination
  • Application implementation activities
• Analyze and distinguish between:
  • User requests
  • Actual business and operational needs
• Support enterprise application modernization and optimization initiatives

4. Requirements Gathering & Documentation

• Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to gather business requirements
• Develop:
  • Functional requirements
  • Technical specifications
  • Workflow diagrams
  • Conceptual data models
  • Flowcharts and process documentation
• Translate business requirements into actionable technical solutions

5. Technical Coordination & Support

• Coordinate with EITS and technical teams during:
  • SQL Server updates
  • Epic upgrades
  • Planned system downtime activities
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and system defects
• Support system performance monitoring and operational stability

6. Testing, QA & Release Management

• Lead:
  • Functional testing
  • System integration testing
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Develop and maintain:
  • Test plans
  • Release documentation
  • Training materials
  • User guides
• Ensure successful deployment and issue resolution across application releases

7. End-User Support & Training

• Provide application support and issue resolution for end users
• Deliver system training and mentorship to:
  • Junior analysts
  • Operational staff
  • Business users
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and system usability

• Hands-on implementation and support experience with:

Preferred Systems Experience

Education & Experience

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in:

Experience

• 5+ years of progressive experience in:
  • Data processing
  • Enterprise applications support
  • Functional analysis
• 3+ years of experience in:
  • Requirements gathering
  • Workflow analysis
  • Stakeholder interviews and workshops

Preferred Industry Experience

• Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of:
  • NYC Health & Hospitals systems and operations
• Telecommunications background preferred for network-related roles
