Title: Software Simulation & Integration Engineer
Location: Orlando, FL
Duration:18-24 Month Contract
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, Computer, Systems, or related technical field).
10+ years of real-time simulation systems experience in development, integration, troubleshooting, testing, and debugging of complex technical simulation environments.
Strong knowledge in avionics systems and aircraft operations.
Strong knowledge in programming (C++, C#, Python, or similar).
Strong knowledge in development tools (Visual Studio).
Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, managed switches, firewalls).
Strong knowledge in simulation networking environments (DIS and HLA).
Experience with Windows/Linux environments and virtualization platforms.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, system architecture diagrams, and interface documentation.
Demonstrated troubleshooting expertise across hardware and software domains.
Strong communication skills for cross-functional coordination.
Ability to travel as required for installation and customer support.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience integrating immersive technologies (VR/AR/MR).
Familiarity with game engines (Unity, Unreal Engine) in simulation applications.
CompTIA Security+, Network+, or equivalent certifications.
Experience in high-reliability or mission-critical environments.
