We are seeking a Software Test Engineer located in Broomfield, CO. The role involves developing test plans and test scripts using the Robot Framework, and writing Python scripts for automated testing. A thorough understanding of the test development lifecycle and strong collaboration skills with cross‑functional teams are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop test plans in Confluence and test cases using the Robot Framework.
  • Create automated testing infrastructure with Python or related languages.
  • Identify and correct issues when possible; for larger problems, coordinate with the development team and verify fixes.
  • Collaborate with developers, systems engineers, and project managers to understand requirements and ensure acceptance criteria are met.
  • Perform manual and automated testing, including regression and stress tests, to detect defects and ensure quality.
  • Participate in code reviews to embed testability, scalability, and quality in the development process.
  • Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in a related field.
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in software testing and test automation.
  • U.S. person status: citizen, permanent resident, green card holder, or granted asylum/refugee status.
  • Due to national security requirements, candidates who are nationals of the People’s Republic of China or Russia must also be U.S. citizens.

Preferred Skills
  • Experience with modern cloud development tools for container orchestration (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure).
  • Strong experience with the Robot Framework and Python automation.
  • Deep understanding of software testing methodologies and the test development lifecycle.
  • Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices.
  • Self‑teaching ability and strong analytical/problem‑solving skills.
  • Effective communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of Jenkins, Git, Linux OS, PostgreSQL, Redis, InfluxDB, and Elasticsearch.

Compensation & Benefits

The pay range for this role is $132,000 – $165,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
