Job Description:
- Client is actively seeking an entry level Software/Firmware Test Engineer to join our team in our client location. This is a contract position where you will collaborate with an international project team to develop and release cutting-edge industrial automation products.
Qualifications:
- We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in C# programming and a willingness to learn
- Knowledge in testing firmware for complex embedded runtime environments
- Strong attention to detail and a solid work ethic
- Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Responsibilities:
- Execute functional tests on industrial automation products
- Collaborate with team members to analyze requirements and define test cases
- Evaluate the testability of requirements and provide feedback
- Identify potential technical issues or design flaws
- Communicate and coordinate with internal stakeholders including developers, support staff, technical writers, project managers, and QA personnel
