About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to support software and firmware testing activities for medical device products. This role involves working closely with engineering teams to validate product functionality, execute test cases, identify defects, and ensure product quality in a regulated environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for recent engineering graduates or early-career professionals who have a strong technical aptitude, problem-solving mindset, and interest in testing and
validation.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform integration, system, stability, and smoke testing of software and firmware releases
- Execute test cases and validate product features against requirements
- Support Agile/Scrum teams through requirement and user story testing
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects
- Troubleshoot software application issues and assist in root cause investigations
- Conduct laboratory-based testing activities using medical devices and instrumentation
- Collaborate closely with software, firmware, and systems engineers
- Follow established SOPs, safety procedures, and quality standards
- Maintain accurate test documentation and records
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to learn new technologies, equipment, and processes quickly
- Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively in a laboratory or technical testing environment
- Comfortable executing tests and validating results
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with software testing, system testing, integration testing, or validation activities
- Exposure to firmware verification or hardware/software testing environments
- Experience documenting defects, test results, or technical requirements
- Familiarity with regulated industries such as medical devices, healthcare, life sciences, or similar fields
- Understanding of Quality System Regulations (QSR), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), or other quality/compliance standards
