Solutions Developer (JAVA) Payment Systems | WFH | AU Client
We are seeking an experienced Java Solutions Developer to join a growing Australian technology team delivering enterprise software solutions within the payments and fintech industry .
This is an exciting opportunity to work on business-critical applications, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the design, development, deployment, and support of scalable software solutions used by clients across multiple industries.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and enhance RESTful APIs and full-stack web applications.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and delivery teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Contribute to cloud-based environments, DevOps practices, and deployment pipelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues while ensuring performance, security, and reliability.
- Participate in solution design, continuous improvement initiatives, and technical discussions.
Essential Requirements
- Strong commercial experience with Java, JEE, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot .
- Proven full-stack development experience, including front-end technologies such as Angular or React.
- Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases such as MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
- Experience using Git and modern software development practices.
- Previous experience working within the Payments, Financial Services, Banking, or FinTech industry is essential.
- Strong understanding of enterprise application development and software design principles.
Highly Regarded
- Experience with cloud technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture.
- Experience supporting and deploying software directly to end users.
