Responsibilities:- Develop and implement Splunk deployment strategy for an enterprise environment.
- Define infrastructure needs, sizing of Splunk components, and storage requirements.
- Setup replication for data availability.
- Implement security, privacy, and integrity policies for enterprise deployment.
- Optimize search performance using Splunk best practices.
- Define backup and archiving strategies.
- Design highly available, multi-department, multi-data center Splunk setup.
- Create Splunk apps using XML and web components.
- Experience with Hunk and related technologies is a plus.
- Application development experience in Java, .Net, SQL, or PHP is advantageous.
