Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented SQL Data Analyst to support data analysis, validation, and mapping activities for enterprise data initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL expertise, exceptional analytical skills, and experience working with both technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and validate data across multiple systems to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve data quality issues, including inconsistent values and missing standards.
• Create and maintain detailed data mapping documentation for database engineering teams.
• Develop bi-directional data mapping between source and target systems.
• Perform data transformation analysis and support migration or integration efforts.
• Collaborate with business users, developers, and database engineers to understand data requirements.
• Document business rules, data definitions, and mapping logic.
• Ensure high-quality deliverables through careful analysis and attention to detail.

Required Skills

• Strong SQL skills with experience analyzing and validating large datasets.
• Excellent attention to detail with a disciplined approach to data analysis.
• Experience identifying and resolving data quality issues.
• Strong understanding of data mapping and data transformation concepts.
• Experience creating clear and structured mapping documentation.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting data migration, integration, or modernization projects.
• Familiarity with enterprise databases and relational data models.
• Experience working in Agile environments is a plus.
