Project Overview

This project supports three high-priority data models used for Federal Regulatory Reporting.

The models were originally built several years ago and now require modernization and optimization to achieve greater operational excellence. The Data Engineers will focus on enhancing existing models, improving efficiencies, introducing automation, and streamlining daily data processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enhance and modernize existing data models supporting Federal Regulatory Reporting.
  • Improve efficiency, scalability, and reliability of existing data processes.
  • Develop automation solutions to reduce manual effort and streamline daily operations.
  • Analyze existing data workflows and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Work with SQL-based data processing and modern cloud data platforms.
  • Support data validation and testing activities throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Develop and execute automated testing strategies.
  • Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices where applicable.
  • Collaborate with technical and business teams to understand requirements and deliver reliable data solutions.
  • Identify and resolve data quality, process, and performance issues.
  • Contribute to operational excellence across the supported regulatory reporting models.
  • Explore and implement AI-driven automation opportunities to improve data and reporting processes.
Required Skills
  • Strong SQL experience
  • Experience with Snowflake and/or Databricks
  • Experience with AI automation
  • Strong testing and data validation experience
  • Hands-on experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD)
  • Experience working with data models and data processing workflows
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
