Sql database developer, senior (monterrey)

Our Epicor Prophet 21 team is looking for a Senior SQL Database Developer to lead and support initiatives related to database planning and development. This role involves designing, coding, testing, and maintaining database systems, while also mentoring fellow developers to elevate team performance and technical excellence.

What you will be doing Design and develop databases, schemas, stored procedures, and other database components. Collaborate in the design and review of key system functionality. Define data repository requirements, data dictionaries, and warehousing strategies. Optimize database performance and scalability while planning for future growth. Modify database structures as business needs evolve. Translate business requirements into effective database solutions, including specifications and metadata definitions. Guide and mentor other members of the Database Team, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing. What you will likely bring 5+ years of hands‑on experience with SQL Server and a proven track record of success. Ability to quickly grasp new technologies and business domains. Strong analytical and complex problem‑solving skills. Expertise in relational database design. Advanced proficiency in SQL query writing. Experience with performance tuning and database optimization.
