Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support MS SQL Server databases (2012/2016/2019/2022)

• Perform end to end database migration from on premises to cloud (Azure SQL / Azure SQL Managed Instance / SQL on VM / AWS RDS)

• Plan and execute database upgrade and migration strategies with minimal business impact

• Manage backup, restore, DR, and high availability solutions

• Monitor and tune SQL Server performance and queries

• Implement database security, access control, and compliance standards

• Automate routine DBA tasks using scripts and tools

• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and cloud teams

• Create migration runbooks, documentation, and post migration support
