The SQL Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining SQL databases, creating and optimizing SQL queries, and ensuring data integrity and security. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database development, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases for use in healthcare applications
• Create and optimize complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data
• Ensure data integrity and security by implementing proper data backup and recovery procedures
• Collaborate with software developers and business analysts to understand database requirements and provide technical solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues
• Develop and maintain database documentation and data dictionaries
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in database technology
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Assist with data migration and integration projects
• Support and maintain existing database systems
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a SQL Developer or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database design principles
• Experience with SQL Server, MySQL, and/or Oracle databases
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures
• Familiarity with database administration and performance tuning
• Experience with data migration and integration projects
