As a SQL Developer at VigorCare, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our SQL databases. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the efficient and effective management of our data, allowing us to deliver high-quality care to our patients. You will work closely with our IT team and other departments to identify and implement database solutions that meet our business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases for various applications and systems within the organization
- Write complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from databases
- Optimize database performance by identifying and resolving issues, and implementing best practices
- Collaborate with IT team members to ensure data integrity, security, and availability
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner
- Develop and maintain documentation of database structure, processes, and procedures
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in database technologies to suggest improvements and enhancements
- Work closely with other departments to understand their data needs and provide solutions to support their business processes
- Participate in database design and code reviews to ensure quality and consistency
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database management
- Experience with SQL Server and/or Oracle databases
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
- Knowledge of database security, backup, and recovery procedures
- Ability to write and optimize complex SQL queries
