We are seeking a talented and experienced SQL Developer to join our team in Anchorage, Alaska. The SQL Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining our SQL databases, creating and optimizing SQL queries, and designing and implementing database solutions to support our organization's operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases for our pediatric healthcare services
- Create and optimize SQL queries to support data analysis and reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and develop solutions to meet business requirements
- Troubleshoot database issues and perform necessary maintenance and upgrades
- Develop and maintain database documentation, including data standards, procedures, and definitions
- Ensure data security and integrity by implementing appropriate access controls and backups
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in SQL development and database technologies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems (e.g. SQL Server, Oracle)
- Experience with data modeling and database design principles
- Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processes
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience in healthcare or a related field is a plus
