Summary.
We are seeking a skilled SQL Developer with strong experience in Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, and SSRS to design, develop, maintain, and optimize database solutions, ETL processes, and reporting systems. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and development teams to deliver reliable data integration and reporting solutions.
Skills and Responsibilities
· Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server databases, stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers.
· Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for performance and scalability.
· Create, maintain, and support ETL processes using SSIS packages.
· Extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into data warehouses and operational databases.
· Design, develop, and deploy reports and dashboards using SSRS.
· Gather reporting requirements from business users and translate them into technical solutions.
· Troubleshoot and resolve database, ETL, and reporting issues.
· Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies.
· Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across systems.
· Collaborate with application developers and business analysts to support data-related initiatives.
· Participate in database design reviews and data modelling activities.
· Maintain technical documentation for database objects, ETL workflows, and reporting solutions.
· Experience with Oracle Database will be a plus
· Experience with PostgreSQL database will be a plus
· Experience with NCR Power HQ will be a plus
Education
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
· Microsoft SQL Server certifications are preferred.
