About The Team/Project

Join our development team and help build and evolve Bravura’s applications within the financial services and Investment Funds domain.

As a SQL Developer with .NET, you will play a key role in designing, developing and maintaining robust, high-performing data solutions. Working closely with .NET developers and other technical specialists, you will contribute to the development of our applications, optimise database performance and ensure that our SQL solutions follow industry best practices.

Your expertise will help ensure data integrity, application performance and the smooth operation of Bravura’s flagship products. This is an opportunity to combine strong SQL knowledge with .NET development experience while contributing to modern software engineering practices and the continuous improvement of our products.

What You’ll Do

• Develop high-quality code for Bravura’s applications within the financial services and Investment Funds domain.
• Optimise SQL queries and database performance to ensure efficient and reliable application functionality.
• Design, develop and maintain SQL databases, queries, stored procedures and other database solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and support to .NET developers on SQL queries and database-related matters.
• Review and analyse existing SQL code, identifying opportunities for improvement and recommending best practices.
• Develop new functionalities within .NET-based applications.
• Analyse and troubleshoot technical and functional issues reported by clients.
• Contribute to technical discussions, solution design and the continuous improvement of our applications.
• Support the implementation and improvement of development and deployment practices.
• Work closely with other developers and technical teams to deliver reliable, scalable and high-quality solutions.

Unleash Your Potential

To be successful in this role, your background and experience will include:

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in writing efficient SQL queries and optimising database performance.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server, including database design concepts, T-SQL, SQL Jobs and complex stored procedures.
• Experience with or knowledge of MS SQL Server Administration.
• Good knowledge of .NET/.NET Framework/Core and C#.
• Understanding of industry-standard software development lifecycles and methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum and Scrum of Scrums.
• Understanding of software quality concepts, including testing approaches, categories and levels, as well as test automation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

It’s great, but not essential, if you have:

• Knowledge of SQL Server internals and theoretical aspects of database design.
• Experience building CI/CD solutions using industry-standard platforms such as Git, GitLab or Azure DevOps.
• Experience working in complex enterprise or financial services environments.
