Job summary:
We are seeking an experienced Infra. Technology Specialist with 7 to 10 years of experience specializing in MS SQL Server. SQL Server Application portfolio rationalization & transformation / ADO.NET ASP.NET Core.Net Framework.
Responsibilities :
- Lead the design implementation and maintenance of MS SQL Server databases to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Oversee database security including the implementation of access controls and encryption to protect sensitive data.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for database-related issues ensuring mínimal downtime and quick resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements ensuring database solutions meet business needs.
- Develop and maintain documentation for database configurations processes and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Monitor database performance and conduct regular tuning to optimize query execution and resource utilization.
- Implement backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data and ensure business continuity.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and address potential vulnerabilities and performance bottlenecks.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in database management and security.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Mentor and guide junior team members sharing knowledge and expertise to foster a collaborative learning environment.
- Coordinate with vendors and external partners to evaluate and integrate new database technologies and tools.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of database management processes and practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Possess extensive experience in MS SQL Server including design implementation and maintenance.
- Experienced design implementation and maintenance of MS SQL Server
- Demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve complex database issues quickly.
- Exhibit excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Show proficiency in database security practices including access controls and encryption.
- Display a commitment to staying updated with the latest industry trends and best practices.
- Possess strong documentation skills to maintain comprehensive records of database configuration.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Have experience in the Finance & Accounting domain.
