Title: Senior SQL Server Data Architect & Analytics Consultant Vegetation Management Database (VMD)
Location: Onsite in Sacramento, CA Need Local only

Overview
experienced Data & Analytics Consultant to lead the design, development, and implementation of a Vegetation Management Database (VMD) using Microsoft SQL Server. The VMD will serve as the central repository for vegetation management data and support reporting, operational analytics, forecasting, predictive modeling, and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop SQL Server database architecture and data models.
- Integrate historical, reference, and operational data sources.
- Build secure data access and maintenance processes.
- Develop dashboards, KPI scorecards, reports, and visualizations.
- Implement predictive analytics and forecasting solutions.
- Create low-code/no-code solutions for business users.
- Establish role-based security, auditing, and governance controls.
- Conduct data quality assessments, migration, and validation activities.
- Provide technical documentation, training, and knowledge transfer.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience delivering similar data management and analytics solutions.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server database design and development.
- Experience with data integration, reporting, analytics, and forecasting.
- Experience developing dashboards and business intelligence solutions.
- Knowledge of Python-based analytics workflows is highly desirable.
- Utility, vegetation management, asset management, or related industry experience preferred.
