Requirements
- 5 or more years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server database administration and enterprise architecture.
- Proficiency in Oracle database management and relational database schema design.
- Experience in geographic information systems including ESRI SDE Geodatabases and spatial data.
- Experience with administering cloud-based database environments utilizing Azure SQL and AWS data tools.
- Experience in optimizing complex data warehouses and developing relational database specifications.
- Experience with executing rigorous SQL code reviews and advanced database performance tuning.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Architect and optimize highly scalable relational database schemas and enterprise data dictionaries.
- Administer daily operational tasks across diverse computing platforms to resolve critical production issues.
- Execute comprehensive database performance monitoring and advanced query tuning procedures.
- Evaluate and review complex SQL code to ensure strict adherence to enterprise data security standards.
- Design and implement geospatial database structures utilizing advanced geographic information systems.
- Produce and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all database administration workflows.
- Mentor junior technical staff and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy system enhancements.
