Our Winnipeg higher-education client is looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Systems Analyst to join their team on an initial 6 month contract working closely with the Data team to play a role in a multi-year initiative for a major system upgrade.

Responsibilities
- Analyze reports and work with Business on purpose of each report.
- Reverse engineer the SQL used to generate report and determine the data it requires.
- Redesign SQL to point to other data source (Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Banner).
- Create specifications with new SQL to re-build report to a developer (or team of developers).
- Unit test reports.
- Coordinate testing reports with business.
- Coordinate promoting reports to production environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a System / Data Analyst.
- Minimum 10 years of experience with Oracle SQL.
- Minimum 10 years of PL/SQL Developer application experience.
- Minimum 10 years of experience working with Microsoft Cloud SQL Server.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with T-SQL.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with SQL Server.
- Must have experience working with Microsoft Azure.
- Must have experience developing with Power BI.
