What a Day in the Life Looks Like
- eTroubleshoot business and operational issues related to the WM Advantage Warehouse Management System (WMS) and supporting application
- sInvestigate and document issues, escalating to third-party vendors (ERP, Honeywell/Vocollect, RF hardware providers, reporting or labelling systems) when require
- dManage WMS environments, including configuration updates and migration between environment
- Develop and modify reports and dashboards (SSRS, Crystal Reports) to support operational visibility and reporting need
- Support WMS data administration, including users, menus, locations, pick/putaway sequences, and zone configuration
- Partner with warehouse operations teams to develop WMS super users and support best practices in system usage
- Design and implement enhancements or configuration changes to improve WMS performance and usability
- Monitor SQL performance and assist with query optimization, indexing, and tuning
What You Bring to the Team
- BA/BS in Computer Science, MIS, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience working in a similar technical or solutions-focused environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functional
- Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize work, manage multiple tasks, and operate independent
- Strong SQL and database experience, including queries and stored procedures (SQL/Oracle
- Experience with warehouse and supply chain technologies such as WMS platforms, RF/barcode hardware, voice solutions, or labelling systems
- Familiarity with integrations (REST, XML/JSON/SOAP), reporting tools, or networking concepts (TCP/IP, Cognos/SSRS/Business Objects, WAN/LAN)Familiarity with ERP solutions such as NetSuite, SAP, Acumatica, or Business Central
