OverviewSenior Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Engineers are responsible for implementing company policies related to environmental protection, health, and workplace safety.
He plays a critical role in identifying and developing effective health and safety solutions, particularly during the planning and launch of new products, services, or processes.
ResponsibilitiesImplementing and managing EHS programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies.
This involves developing and updating safety protocols, conducting audits, and providing guidance to employees.
Conducting risk assessments and hazard evaluations to identify potential environmental and occupational health risks.
This includes evaluating workplace conditions, analyzing data, and recommending measures to mitigate risks.
Providing training and education to employees on EHS policies, procedures, and best practices.
This involves creating training materials, delivering workshops, and promoting a culture of safety awareness.
Investigating incidents and accidents, identifying root causes, and recommending corrective actions.
Ensure the implementation and compliance with the clauses of the ISO * and ISO * standards, creating understandable programs for their maintenance.
Identify and develop effective health and safety solutions, particularly during the planning and launch of new products, services, or processes.
Revise, document, and supervise administrative reports for the safety and environmental areas.
Qualifications5-7 years of experience in environmental health and safety roles, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate potential health and safety hazards in the workplace.
Experience in developing and implementing comprehensive EHS programs, policies, and procedures to minimize risks and promote a safe working environment.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities to effectively train and educate staff on EHS protocols, conduct audits, and manage EHS programs across multiple areas.
Ability to prepare and conduct controlled audits.
Education and CertificationsBachelor's degree in occupational safety or bachelor's degree in engineering field or similar field
Certification as lead auditor or internal auditor in ISO * & ISO * standards
Fluent English
