Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and test engineers to produce high‑quality software that follows established design patterns and processes.
  • Independently develop, code, modify, test, and debug application programs of varying complexity.
  • Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.
  • Troubleshoot production problems within assigned applications.
  • Assist less‑experienced staff in user specifications, coding, testing, and debugging.
  • Work with business users to develop and implement acceptance tests, ensuring products meet customer requirements.
  • Implement recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards.
  • Engage in process improvement initiatives.
Required Skills
  • Experience with full software lifecycle development using Java/J2EE, JavaScript, REST/JAX/Soap Web Services, Weblogic, JPA, Tapestry, Hibernate, HTML5, Angular (5+), Angular Material, Bootstrap, Node, Spring (including Spring Boot).
  • Proficiency with Oracle 11g/12c, PL/SQL, Maven, Log4j, JUnit, SonarQube.
  • Experience developing detailed designs, optimizing code for performance and reliability, and conforming to coding standards and continuous integration.
  • Familiarity with Subversion, JIRA, HP ALM, and Agile development methodology.
  • Understanding of Section 508 ADA compliance and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) with rule engine processing.
  • Ability to provide creative solutions to complex software/system challenges.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including customer‑facing requirement discussions.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage status, and multi‑task.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, or related field.
  • 8–10 years of experience.
Desired Skills
  • ADf, Drools, JPA/ORM.
  • Experience transitioning business logic from PL/SQL to Java.
