Job Title: Java Backend Developer (Microservices & AWS)

Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Java Backend Developer with strong experience in Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, and AWS. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of design thinking, be a self-starter, and be comfortable working as an Individual Contributor (IC) in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot
- Build and manage Microservices-based architecture
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs
- Deploy and manage applications on AWS cloud environment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Apply design thinking principles to solve complex problems
- Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and scalability
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues effectively
- Work independently and take ownership of end-to-end delivery
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 7–10 years of experience in Java development
- Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Microservices
- Experience in building and integrating RESTful APIs
- Proficiency in AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.)
- Good understanding of design patterns and design thinking
- Ability to work as an Individual Contributor (IC)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with DevOps tools / CI-CD pipelines
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
