Job Title: Data Engineer (Databricks, Spark, Python) Location: NYC ( Hybrid - 3 Days Onsite / Week) Duration: 12+ Months Contract
We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Databricks, SQL, and Python to support enterprise-scale data engineering initiatives for Disney The ideal candidate should have solid experience building scalable data pipelines, working with large datasets, and supporting cloud-based data platforms.
Required Skills
- At least 6 to 8 years of overall IT experience in Data Engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks
- Expertise in PySpark
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Strong Experience in of SQL and relational databases
- Experience working with large-scale structured and unstructured data
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines
- Build and maintain Databricks-based data solutions
- Develop Spark/PySpark jobs for large-scale data processing
- Ensure data quality, performance optimization, and production support
