Remote – You may work from anywhere; we also have a new office in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Responsibilities Contribute to the design and development of new cloud‑based software architectures. Own and deliver complete features from design to production release. Provide feedback on technical designs, proposals, and code. Collaborate with other teams to create solutions across the entire software development lifecycle. Troubleshoot software issues, debug a large codebase, and develop unit and integration tests. Contribute to technical documentation to increase the maintainability of software assets. Qualifications 7+ years of experience building backend software, with exposure to microservices, event‑driven architectures, and batch processing. 4+ years of strong proficiency in Java and the Spring Boot framework. Solid fundamentals with relational databases (e.g., Postgre SQL) and No SQL databases (e.g., Dynamo DB). Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS). Experience with distributed messaging systems such as Apache Kafka. Ability to collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to translate complex business requirements into clean, extensible APIs. Nice to have: Python with testing frameworks (pytest or unittest). Nice to have: Node.js and Type Script. Strong technical, analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Proficiency with security, documentation, and monitoring best practices. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary and benefits.
