Sterile Processing Technician
This position is for a Sterile Processing Technician. The technician will be responsible for the sterilization, decontamination, and assembly of surgical instruments. Experience in scope reprocessing is also essential. The position requires the ability to work rotating weekends and to be on call periodically. Candidates must have at least two years of relevant experience. Certifications in CBSPD and/or HSPA are required. This role involves working in an acute care setting and contributing to various surgical specialties. Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong understanding of infection control practices and instrument processing. The job may require participation in emergency response teams during hurricane season. All requested time off must be provided during the application process.
