Sterile Processing Technician
Perform decontamination, cleaning, and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment
Assemble and prepare surgical trays accurately and efficiently
Conduct high-level disinfection (HLD) processes
Inspect instruments for cleanliness, functionality, and defects
Wrap, label, and prepare instruments for sterilization cycles
Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols
Ensure on-time instrument availability to support daily OR schedules
Utilize EMR systems (Epic) to review surgical case schedules
Float between facilities as needed based on volume
Minimum 2+ years of Sterile Processing experience
Strong hands-on experience in:
Instrument assembly & inspection
Sterilization & decontamination processes
High-level disinfection (HLD)
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand surgical environment
Comfortable with floating between facilities
Strong attention to detail and infection control compliance
Experience with: Steris sterilizers and washers, V-PRO sterilization systems, SPM tracking systems
