Position Summary Incumbent performs tasks associated with the reprocessing of reusable instruments, supplies, and equipment. Performs inventory management tasks involving reprocessed and single use equipment and supplies to all departments. The Sterile Processing Technician is thoroughly versed in surgical instrumentation. Supports the mission of Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota in the care and treatment of patients following established customer service, family centered care, resource utilization and infection control standards.

Schedule: Monday - Friday (11a-7p and 1p-9:30p)

One year Central/Sterile Processing experience and/or experience in medical device reprocessing role or similar experience in an operating room. Graduate of Central/Sterile Processing Technical College Program and/or certification in sterile processing preferred. Requires sufficient familiarity with surgical instruments to be able to assemble surgical trays. Inventory management experience preferred.
