Retail Store Processor

The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. We are looking for a motivated, dependable Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals.

Broad Ripple Location: 1021 Broad Ripple Ave. Indianapolis, IN 46220 Pay: $13.50 per hour Job Type: Part-time Schedule: Example: 20 to 24 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

What You'll Do:

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise
• Help track and report production numbers
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor
• Provide friendly, helpful service to donors
• Receive trucks and assists to load, unload and move product to the correct departments
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces
• Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock
• May make bank runs, price items, or cross train in another department

What You'll Need:

Required:

• Ability to process donated merchandise
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Basic communication and teamwork skills
• Basic math and computer skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift
• Ability to bend, reach, and lift or move merchandise throughout the day
• High school diploma or currently pursuing
• Valid Driver's License and ability to drive on behalf of The Salvation Army

Preferred:

• Previous retail or thrift store experience
