Responsibilities
Coordinate all engineering activities including design, calculations, material preparation, fabrication, and construction supervision.
Monitor and inspect subcontractors’ technical work, designs, and methods for quality and compliance.
Perform structural calculations for temporary works to ensure adherence to relevant codes and regulations.
Liaise with authorities for project submissions and follow-up actions.
Provide technical advice on structural site works and develop design concepts and detailed plans.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Job requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, preferably from courses listed in the HKIE's List of Accredited Programmes.
Membership of the HKIE (Structural Discipline) is a definite advantage.
At least 6 years’ experience in structural engineering with main contractors, of which at least 2 years’ working experience in multi-disciplinary MEP or private residential construction projects.
Proficiency in Structural/Geotechnical analysis software is preferred.
Well-organized and self-motivated with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
Candidates with more experience will be considered as Senior Structural Engineer.
Immediate availability or a short notice period is preferred.
