In this role you bridge advanced structural mechanics and data science to develop next-generation methodologies for composite, metallic, and thermoplastic structures. You will perform specialized FEA/FEM simulations and drive the digital transformation of the structural department through Python automation. You work closely with design, testing, manufacturing, and quality to ensure certification readiness. This position offers the opportunity to shape innovative simulation tools and accelerate complex calculations in a fast-paced aerospace context. You will contribute to high-impact Ru0026amp;T activities and help advance structural capabilities for safety-critical rotorcraft systems.
Compensaciones / Beneficios
• Execute complex linear/non-linear and dynamic FEA simulations using the Altair HyperWorks suite (HyperMesh, HyperCrash, HyperGraph)
• Lead high-velocity dynamics and impact analyses (ballistic impact, bird strike, transient events) with RADIOSS
• Perform advanced vibrations analysis (modal, harmonic, random vibration) to ensure structural integrity under dynamic environments using OptiStruct / RADIOSS
• Develop and execute test-to-analysis correlation workflows aligning FEM results with physical test data
• Conduct damage tolerance and materials analysis for composite and metallic structures, including thermoplastic joints
• Develop and maintain automated workflows and calculation tools using Python
• Collaborate with design, testing, manufacturing engineering, and quality to ensure structural compliance and certification readiness
• Identify local improvement opportunities to increase team efficiency through methods and tools enhancements
Responsabilidades xqbhyrx
• Minimum 5–8 years of proven experience in advanced structural simulation (FEM) using Altair HyperWorks
• Strong Python development and automation skills
• Deep understanding of advanced structural mechanics, non-linear behavior, vibrations/dynamics, and failure modes
• Experience with high-velocity dynamics and damage tolerance
• Excellent communication and ability to present simulation results and ideas
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
• English: advanced level
