We are currently looking for a driven and detail-oriented Controller/Economist to join an ambitious team at a forward-thinking company in growth. About the role

In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring sound financial control and supporting strategic decision-making. You will work closely with management, finance, and other departments to analyze financial performance, forecast future trends, and improve internal processes. This is a hands-on and strategic role, perfect for someone who enjoys balancing daily operations with high-level analysis.

You will be part of a small but growing team with room to take ownership, influence how things are done, and grow into a more senior role over time.

What you will be doing

Monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting

• Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Cash flow monitoring and planning
• Supporting business decisions with financial modeling and KPIs
• Working with auditors and ensuring regulatory compliance
• Improving and automating financial processes and tools
• Participating in strategic and cross-functional projects
  

We believe you have

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent
• 2–5 years of experience in a similar role (e.g., controller, financial analyst, or accountant)
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, formulas, etc.)
• Experience working with accounting and/or ERP systems
• An analytical mindset and attention to detail
• Fluent communication skills in Swedish and English

It’s a plus if you have experience from a fast-paced environment, SaaS, or project-based business models.

Location

The team is based in Malmö with a hybrid setup. We meet at the office 2–3 days a week, but flexibility is part of our DNA.
