$21.44-$28.00 per hour starting wage, based on experience

Structured increases at 90 days, 6 months, and 1 year, with annual reviews after that.

About the Role

We are hiring Sub-Assemblers to build components used in custom commercial and industrial HVAC equipment.

This role includes reading prints, measuring materials, operating hand and power tools, and assembling components such as screens, doors, fans, racks, humidifiers, heat wheels, and pipe extensions. Every unit is different, so attention to detail, problem-solving, and pride in your workmanship are essential.

We hire across multiple skill levels. Whether you are beginning a career in manufacturing or bring several years of skilled trades experience, your starting wage and responsibilities will be based on your demonstrated skills and experience.

This is a safety-sensitive position. Safe work practices and attention to detail are required at all times.

What You Will Do

  • Read prints, measurements, and production instructions
  • Measure accurately using a tape measure
  • Build screens, doors, fans, racks, humidifiers, and other HVAC components
  • Assemble heat wheels, pipe extensions, and other specialized components as your skills develop
  • Use hand tools, power tools, fabrication equipment, and rigging safely
  • Follow established build standards and order of operations
  • Inspect your work and correct quality issues
  • Troubleshoot assembly problems as your skills develop
  • Perform stainless steel, steel, or aluminum welding when trained, qualified, and assigned
  • Rotate between workstations or departments based on production needs
  • Work with your team to meet production schedules while maintaining quality and safety standards

  • Able to read a tape measure or willing to learn
  • Comfortable using hand and power tools
  • Able to follow prints, visual aids, work instructions, and demonstrated processes
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
  • Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
  • Able to learn new tasks, apply feedback, and adapt to production needs
  • Organized and able to manage time effectively
  • Team-oriented and willing to help wherever needed

Preferred Experience

  • Manufacturing, construction, HVAC, fabrication, mechanical assembly, or other skilled labor experience
  • Experience reading prints, drawings, or work instructions
  • Experience assembling mechanical or structural components
  • Welding experience

Previous manufacturing experience is helpful but not required for entry-level candidates who demonstrate mechanical aptitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn.

The Work

On your feet most of the shift

Regular lifting up to 15 lbs, frequent lifting up to 25 lbs, and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs

Frequent reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing, and repetitive movement

Manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, production noise, chemicals, physical obstacles, and industrial equipment

Required use of personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, hearing protection, protective clothing, footwear, and other required safety equipment

Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
