Substitute Cooks Helper

On-call Cooks Helper for Jordan Public Schools

Provide a clean, safe and positive environment for students, staff and the public. Salary: $19.48 per hour. Reports to: Nutrition Services Director.

Qualifications: High School Degree earned or equivalent experience. Serve Safe, CPR, First Aid Certification or other applicable certifications preferred. Good physical condition, ability to work in a commercial kitchen environment (ie: extreme temperatures and high noise levels) and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds with no physical restrictions. Experience working with food preparation in a school district. Maintain confidentiality, professionalism and appropriate dress and appearance. Personal attributes necessary for working within a team setting and creating an inviting and welcoming environment. Knowledge of computer programs and willingness to learn specific systems used within the district (ex: Word Ware). Detail orientated.
