Technical Program Manager/Supply Chain Program Manager
Location: San Diego, CA 92123 (Hybrid Preferred | Remote within Pacific Time Zone Considered)
Duration: 12-Month Contract (Potential Extension)
Pay Rate: $95.00–$97.66/hr on W2
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead the technology delivery for a greenfield Transportation Management System (TMS) implementation supporting a large-scale supply chain transformation. This is a high-impact opportunity to drive complex enterprise initiatives while collaborating with global cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end planning and execution of complex enterprise technology programs.
- Manage project scope, schedule, risks, dependencies, budgets, and delivery milestones.
- Drive implementation of a Transportation Management System (TMS) and its integration with enterprise applications, including ERP, WMS, logistics, and analytics platforms.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including architects, business analysts, integration teams, and business stakeholders.
- Identify and resolve cross-functional risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure successful program delivery.
- Facilitate governance meetings, executive status updates, and stakeholder communications.
- Collaborate with global teams across multiple time zones while ensuring project alignment and delivery excellence.
- Support program planning, release readiness, cutover activities, and post-implementation stabilization.
- Promote Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery best practices using Jira and Confluence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- 10+ years of Technical Program Management or Enterprise Delivery experience.
- Proven experience leading large-scale enterprise technology implementations.
- Strong background delivering Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation Management System (TMS), Manufacturing, or ERP-related initiatives.
- Experience managing enterprise integrations and multiple technical workstreams.
- Strong stakeholder management, executive communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid project delivery methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and modern project management tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience implementing Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
- Background in Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, or Distribution environments.
- PMP, SAFe, or equivalent certification.
- Experience working with globally distributed teams and enterprise transformation programs.
