As Global Head of EHS, you will shape Evotec's global EHS strategy and lead the function across sites. You will partner with Operations, Sustainability, and Senior leadership to embed safety, wellbeing, and environmental stewardship into the business. You’ll drive digital EHS transformation, governance, and risk management to enable safe, compliant, and sustainable growth. Your leadership will foster an inclusive, high-performance culture and serve as the EHS voice in executive forums.
Retribuzione / Benefits Lead development and execution of Evotec's global EHS strategy aligned with business objectives and sustainability goals Drive digital transformation of EHS systems (predictive analytics, real-time monitoring, dashboards) Strengthen proactive EHS culture across sites and functions Oversee certification and continuous improvement of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and other systems Ensure global regulatory compliance (chemical safety, occupational health, environmental protection, climate disclosures) Integrate EHS into enterprise governance and workflows Lead risk-reduction methods (behavior-based safety, predictive risk modeling) Own global EHS KPIs, dashboards, and reporting to executives Collaborate with Sustainability on ESG reporting and disclosures Represent EHS in audits, regulatory dialogues, and external partnerships Build relationships with regulators and industry groups Support EHS aspects of crisis management and business continuity Develop a high-performing global EHS organization and succession planning Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion within EHS Advance the Wellbeing agenda as a leadership priority Provide coaching and leadership development to EHS professionals Lead APIs safety framework for pharmaceuticals including containment and OEL/OEBs Oversee industrial hygiene programs and chemical safety management across labs and manufacturing Ensure biosafety containment and integration into occupational health programs Responsabilità 10+ years of progressive EHS leadership in global, multi-site environments Proven track record in mature global EHS programs, digital systems, and cross-regional teams Deep knowledge of global EHS regulatory frameworks (OSHA, EU regulations, chemical safety) Experience of EHS digitalisation and sustainability integration Experience with API containment and industrial hygiene programs Strong understanding of OEL/OEB, exposure modelling, engineering controls Experience in regulated pharma/biotech with potent compounds Experience in process safety and engineering risk management Biosafety expertise and global biosafety regulations (GMOs, containment) Crisis management, emergency response, and business continuity Strong leadership, communication, and board-facing presentation skills English fluency; other languages beneficial Master's degree in related field; advanced certifications preferred #J-18808-LjbffrBy continuing you agree to our Terms & Privacy Policy.
