Job Description
Participate in Agile teams to develop and enhance enterprise applications and services
Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions
Take ownership of system enhancement initiatives and production incident resolution
Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers and offshore teams
Design and develop backend services to support customer-facing applications
Proactively identify, analyse, and resolve system defects and performance issues
Evaluate multiple solution options, balancing technical feasibility and business needs
Ensure development quality, security standards, and delivery timelines are met
The Successful Applicant
Strong hands-on experience with Java Spring Boot, with exposure to React or React Native
Solid understanding of Node.js and modern web application architectures
Proven ability to perform technical analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause resolution
Minimum 3 years of development experience, with at least 1 year in core required technologies
Experience working in Agile development environments
Background in medium-scale system enhancements, including web and batch processing
Prior experience fixing penetration test or security vulnerabilities is an advantage
Demonstrated leadership experience managing 2-5 developers, including offshore teams
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline
Strong English communication skills with native Cantonese proficiency
Less experienced candidates will be considered for a Developer-level position
