Job Description- Participate in Agile teams to develop and enhance enterprise applications and services
- Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions
- Take ownership of system enhancement initiatives and production incident resolution
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers and offshore teams
- Design and develop backend services to support customer-facing applications
- Proactively identify, analyse, and resolve system defects and performance issues
- Evaluate multiple solution options, balancing technical feasibility and business needs
- Ensure development quality, security standards, and delivery timelines are met
The Successful Applicant
- Strong hands-on experience with Java Spring Boot, with exposure to React or React Native
- Solid understanding of Node.js and modern web application architectures
- Proven ability to perform technical analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause resolution
- Minimum 3 years of development experience, with at least 1 year in core required technologies
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Background in medium-scale system enhancements, including web and batch processing
- Prior experience fixing penetration test or security vulnerabilities is an advantage
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing 2-5 developers, including offshore teams
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline
- Strong English communication skills with native Cantonese proficiency
- Less experienced candidates will be considered for a Developer-level position
